Tree Day

It's been a little while, but we got our Christmas tree!  We got up and went and got doughnuts and drove thru Starbucks and off to Grandma and Grandpas's we went!  Grandma had our cereal and applesauce ready for us for our breakfast, but once we saw the doughnuts, that's what we wanted!  Mommy still tried to have us eat the healthier stuff, but gave and figured we'd be eating better later.

I had a mouth full already when Mommy took this picture.

Then we had to get dressed.  We went with Mommy all over town just to try and get a Christmas shirt, but we ended up getting them at Old Navy.  They say Naughty is the new Nice.  And she had to try to get pictures of us before we left.  Gotta give her credit for trying!

Then it was off to the tree farm!!  We got there before everybody, so we got to run around in the trees.

Then it was time to get in the wagon to find our tree!

Then Mommy found our tree and it was time for a family picture.  We have a video that will be up later and how this picture happened, but just picture upset kids and one going in another direction!

Then we had to do it again when Grandma and Grandpa found their tree.

Then it was time to go back home for a nap and snacks.  After that, it was time to decorate the tree.  Alex didn't think it was weird having a tree in the house, but I wasn't so sure.  It took me a while to realize that it's okay, and took a few minutes to go near it.

We helped Grandma get the decorations out and to make sure the lights still worked before we put them on the tree.  We also helped move the storage bins around the room.

Then everyone started putting these things on the tree, Mommy called them ornaments and tried to get us to put them on the tree.

Then we took another nap, or actually Alex took a nap, and I sat with Grandpa fo rsome quiet time.  Then we just got to play until pajama time.  We also made sure the stockings were hung with care.

And look at what Grandma let us do!  We have a video of this too.  She remembered how she used to climb over the rocking chair and showed us how to do it.
