This is what happens . . .

Below are pictures from Sunday. Alex and I decided that we didn't want our morning naps. I was asleep for 10 minutes but Alex's screaming woke me up. He did sleep for 10 minutes but Mommy moved as she held him and he started screaming again. So Mommy and Daddy gave up on that nap!

So we ate lunch, and got ready to go to the pool! We had our ducks, sunscreen on, and towels packed. We walked all the way over, and it was closed for repairs. Mommy and Daddy didn't seem happy that no one had told them, and once we realized that we weren't going in, we got upset. So Mommy remembered reading the Activity Guide from the city and how the pools were free on the weekends until Sept. 7th! They open the rec swim at 1:30. So we got into the stroller and off we went! We got there 20 minutes early, but we picked our spot, put on more sunscreen, and ran around.

At 1:30 we were in the pool! I liked to stay on the steps and splash, but Alex likes to be taken around the pool. And if Mommy and Daddy blow bubbles, he puts his face in the water! This makes me laugh. We played in the pool until 2:10 and got out to dry off, and have juice and cheese. At 2:30, we headed home! We had just gone through the door to the pool when Alex fell asleep! That was record time! I was out 5 minutes later since I was unsure about laying down in the stroller, but I just couldn't stay awake anymore.

Mommy didn't bring the camera to the pool, but here's pictures of us when we got home.

San Francisco

We went to San Francisco this weekend with Mommy, Daddy and Nanay. We had been there before but we weren't even 2 months old and we slept most of the time there, so this was lots of fun! We parked and went straight to Pier 39. There's many pictures ahead, there were too many cute ones to choose from!

Mommy and Daddy took us on the merry-go-round. We didn't cry or anything, we just kind of sat there and hung out while we went up and down.

I was trying to figure out how those things worked.

Then Mommy went into a couple of stores and we walked around. The balloons caught my eye.

Then after we ate lunch, we went and saw the sea lions. Here I am with Mommy.

And there's Daddy and Jacob.

And here's what we were looking at. There were even seal lions that swam right in front of us! And this boat came by us too.

Then we headed to Ghirardelli for ice cream! We stopped on the way to run around on the grass, especially since we'd been in the stroller for a while.

Then it was time, time for ICE CREAM!!!!!! Jacob got some of Mommy's chocolate and mint chip, while he played with the other spoon.

You can't see her, but Nanay was giving me some of her strawberry malt, YUM!

I got some more before we left.

Then we stopped at the water. Mommy tried to keep me out, but I ran right for it. Then she rolled up my jeans, and tried to just let me get wet, but the water was faster than she was, and her shoes got wet. So she just took them off and played with me in the water. And even Jacob came and played after watching us have fun.

All done, but now we have to get changed, especially since I also sat in the water. But it was fun!

Jacob sees where we went, and showed Mommy where to go! Such a good helper.

Back in the stroller and on the way to the car. We stopped and listened to the musician and I danced to the music. People on the other side of the window got a kick out of it.
About 15 minutes later, this is how I was. If you notice, Daddy wasn't even out of the parking lot!

And Jacob about 5 minutes after me!

There's going to be some videos from the trip later. Some dancing and other fun things!

Fair Time

The Fair's in town!! And we got to go. Mommy took off last Friday and off we went! we napped on the way that way Daddy could get a good parking spot. Then when we woke up, we got into our trusty wagon and off to the fair!!

Once we were inside, Daddy had to get his bacon cheeseburger and beer that he has to have at the fair. Mommy brought us our food, so we got some chicken, crackers and strawberries. And some of Daddy's french fries! Then we walked around a for a bit and looked at the stuff people were trying to sell. Seriously, do people really buy a spa here?!

Mommy and Daddy found an area that wasn't that crowded and let us run around. Yay! Jacob wasn't too sure once he was out so he sat with Mommy for a couple of minutes.

That was all though!

Daddy followed us around, especially me, since I like to wander off these days.

Since we still weren't big enough for the rides, Mommy and Daddy put us on those vibrating things for 25 cents and that was our ride for the day! Next year should be fun!

There was an area for kids our age so we got to play. And Grandma and Grandpa showed up! So they followed us around too! I wonder why?! There was a big sand box, a square thing that you could bounce off of walls and fall on the floor. And this thing that had tunnels!

Here's Jacob in the tunnel thing.

Here I am in the square thing, and that blue and red shirt to the left is Jacob!

Then the Clover stand gives away free ice cream, so we got our first ice cream cones!!

I tried to hold my own, but Mommy said no.

The aftermath of ice cream cones!

Then we looked at the cows, sheep, horses, rabbits and the birds! Then we got to go into the petting zoo. Grandma got a ice cream cone filled with feed, but she threw it on the floor when the goat came after it! Jacob wasn't too keen on the animals, but I went right up to them and touched them. I even got to pet a little kangaroo.

We looked at the flowers after that, then we were pooped! Mommy and Daddy were getting some fudge when Jacob started nodding off so Mommy carried him while he slept all the way back to the car.

Here I am, about 100 feet from the car.
And here I am about 20 feet from the car.

That was a lot of fun and we're looking forward to next year!
