Discoveries

Mommy tells her friends that when Jacob learned to crawl she never had to baby-proof anything, but once I started crawling, all of a sudden everything got locked up or put up high. And we've started to explore and figure things out.

Daddy put the play pen in the middle there to try to keep us out of the kitchen while dinner cooked. Jacob is the one sitting on it. He sat there for 5 minutes, which for Jacob is a long time! Then he also got back down all on his own. Daddy watched him do it, and then told Mommy what he was doing. I figured out how to go around it, but I also got stuck under the table.


Mommy and Daddy were cooking breakfast and I was playing with the laundry basket, from the outside. Then they heard me banging on the dryer with the wooden spatula, and found me in the basket. They still don't know how I got in it! Especially with the spatula still in my hand. I like to keep them on their toes.

We also discovered that we have a patio door that we can bang on and look outside.


This was some teamwork! Jacob pulled out that drawer and had it standing on it's edge up against the table. I came along and made sure all the toys were out and put it back on the floor. Then I sat in it and was trying to reach the table when Mommy stopped me. She said something about getting hurt and moved me away.

Mommy found us behind the sofa on the way to where the DVD and Daddy's Playstation is. She caught us and took pictures first. And yes, I'm holding Mommy's Fudge Bar stick. She lets us have a little, and then we can lick the stick.
