New Pictures

Ok, it's been a couple of weeks since we've last posted, so here's some pictures.  Mommy and Daddy haven't gotten recent ones off the camera yet, but maybe since Mommy's on vacation after today, she'll get that done.  But until then, enjoy!

Mommy's Little Helpers

Alex was sitting with Mommy and turned over and fell asleep.

Daddy built us a fort, only thing is that Alex likes to jump onto the blanket and knock it down.

We climbed onto the desk chair and Daddy would make it go around while we laughed!

Mommy and Daddy figured out that we want to eat like they do, so now we get our own plates and forks.  Except that we still like to turn them upside down.  And we like anything that comes with Ketchup!

Maybe a desk job is in the future for Alex?  He even goes and does this in the dark.

Another new thing, we like to pull off each others socks!  Also very funny.

Mommy's friend gave us these books for Christmas last year.  They have a thing on them that makes noise, except that we can't get it to squeak with our fingers so we put them on the floor and step on them!

I got to dip my OREO!

Alex dips like Mommy, just dunked the whole thing!

The aftermath of OREO's.  I've also learned that I can wipe my mouth or nose with my arm.

That's all for now.  Have a good weekend!!

Time Change

Yes, there's been a lot of action on the blog today.  We're playing catch up.  The holidays are approaching and we've got big things coming up!

Mommy and Daddy told us that there was a time change happening.  And that instead of getting up when we used to, we needed to sleep in.  They even had us stay up a little longer with the hopes that we'd sleep longer after they changed the clocks.

This. Did. Not. Work!!

Alex woke up at 5:30, which if it had been the normal time, would have been fine.  But it wasn't.  Mommy was understanding and got up so Daddy could sleep.  And I woke up at 6:00, which was better.  So since we still had time before breakfast, Mommy took Alex and I to the store, to do the grocery shopping.  Then we came home and had breakfast, and headed back out to Target.  Mommy and Daddy wanted to see if there were costumes on sale for us next year. (There wasn't, oh well.)  It was 8:50 at this point.  We were almost through at the register when Alex got whiny, so instead of letting him whine, Daddy got him out of the shopping cart.

He fell ASLEEP right there! Out like a light!

So here we are at 9:00 in the morning once we got home!

Then downside is that Alex only slept for 30 minutes!  Poor Mommy and Daddy.  I think they had a long day.  Good news though, since then, Alex finally has been back to sleeping through the night.

The cell phones are back!

We lost them for a while, which was fine since we have plenty of other things to play with and discover, but Mommy was making the bed and found our 2 favorite cell phones on the storage bin underneath and gave them to us.  Wrong thing to do!  Now we walk all over and talk like we see Daddy do.  Sometimes he gets on one and says "Hello", and then hands it to us and tells us "It's for you".  Silly Daddy!

"Look, I want that taken care of, ASAP!"

"You have two phones already!  Why are you taking mine?"

"It's for you!"

"Oh no, which one's ringing?!"

The phones have since been in hiding (meaning we've put them somewhere and can't find them) and we've using other things as phones instead.  Things like shoes, graham crackers, remote controls, computer mouses, etc.

Halloween 2009

Happy Belated Halloween!  Mommy, of course, had to take our pictures with our shirts on!!  And to her happy surprise, it only took 5 minutes.  No Trick or Treating this year (whatever that is), but next year we hear, will be fun!

This is the best she got of Alex. His shirt says "I may be cute, but I still BITE."  Very fitting these days for Alex.

And of course, one of us together!

And here's a better one of Alex that Mommy managed to get later (which is okay since you can still see me in the background!)

Alex's 1st Haircut

Yes, I know there was a post before about me getting a haircut but that was more of a trim. This was a real haircut!  I guess Mommy got tired of not seeing my neck and the hair coming down in front of my face.  So one morning, she and Daddy took us over to the Kidscuts around the corner.  If you saw the pictures from the last visit, this was about the same.  The lady was real nice, but once I got covered with that sheet thing, I cried!  Then she came at me with those cutting things, forget it!  Mommy tried to let me hold some sweet hard candy thing on a stick, but I wanted nothing to do with it.

Anyways, since Mommy was trying to get me to stop moving my head and Daddy was holding Jacob, they didn't get any during pictures.  But here are the results!

Before

After

I do have to admit, it's nice not having Mommy spend an extra 5 minutes after my bath trying to get my hair parted and laying down.  And it feels so much lighter!  Except the top part is a little short so it sticks straight up in the mornings!  Hopefully we don't have to do that again for a while!
