Pumpkin Patch 2009

We went to the Pumpkin Patch over the weekend.  Grandma and Grandpa met us there to join us for our first trip.  Mommy says that we're still not dressing up in costumes this year since we don't understand Halloween and Trick or Treating yet, but she did get us shirts for the day at Wal-Mart.

This is the first thing they made us do.  Jacob was quite confused as to where we were and what we were doing for the first hour we were there.  Mommy says it's a good picture of us if she can see all 4 eyes looking at her.

Then we played on a trailer that had hay on it.  Then one of us fell and we were done.  And besides I had decided to move on and started walking to the castle to check it out.

There was a little maze for kids our size.  I left Jacob in the dust since he wasn't coming anyways.

Then we walked around some more.  They had big jumpy things, but they were still a little old for us to do.  But we found these things with holes in them.  Mommy and Daddy kept lifting us up and Grandma was taking pictures.  Daddy made sure that Mommy didn't put us in the girly one.  Good thing he watches out for us.

Then we decided to take a little break.  Grandma bought us an Orange Icee drink thing that was great!  We found some tables in the shade and the grown ups rested while we played.

Then we saw some ducks, chickens and cows.  I got to pet the cow too.  Jacob didn't get too close and just wanted Mommy to hold him.

Then Mommy tried to get pictures of us near pumpkins, so here's the best shots.  We did like to push the pumpkins over the edge too.  That was fun.

We also watched a cow get milked.  Grandpa held Jacob and he kept messing with Grandma's hat so she put it on Jacob!

Then on the way out Mommy tried again for that picture.  Here's how that went! Oh well, there's always next year.

Recent Things

We're finally better!  Mommy's hasn't had to wipe a runny nose for a week now!  Alex is teething again so he's been waking up at night between 5 and 5:45, so that's been fun.  Or at least that's what I'm told, I sleep through his screaming.  We've been busy and we hear that it's going to be busy the next few weekends.  Yay!  Here are some pictures!

We like black olives and Mommy taught us how to eat them off of our fingers!  And you can see my fat cheeks filled with them already!

Alex found a new spot in the living to try to hide from me when I want to wrestle.  Poor Alex, I still found him!

And that maybe why I got a time-out!  I tried to get into the thing with Alex and was sitting on top of him and I may or may not have tried to push him out of the way!  Alex came to sit with me during my time-out, but rubbed it in by playing around when I couldn't.

One night we got to help Daddy make cookies.  Too bad it was right before bedtime and we didn't get any!  At least Mommy got a couple of cute pictures.

I found Daddy's sandals and tried them on.  They're a little big, but I still got around in them!

We wanted to sit at the table one morning!  Mommy says to ignore the mess, usually it's a little neater than this.

I found the Mail Bin that Mommy has to take back to work, but in the meantime, I get to play with it!  Too bad it got taken away when we flipped it over and used it to get to the table and pulled everything off!

There should be more pictures soon, we're going to the Pumpkin Patch!

Another Park

Yes, we went to another park.  This one was a new one in Daddy's hometown, Vallejo.  We go to a Philippine restaurant there for lunch a couple of times a year.  But after lunch this time, Daddy remembered this park and decided to take us there.

Jacob was crying for some reason, I don't know why, and Mommy can't remember why either.

But he cried all the way down the slide!

Then we climbed around some more.  Mommy and Daddy are happy since they don't have to follow us as closely as they used to.  Most of the time they just stay on the ground while we do our thing.

I made Mommy laugh when I did this, something about being a tree-hugger?!  Anyways she made Daddy take the picture.

Then I showed Jacob how to go down the slide.

Needless to say, he didn't follow my instructions!

After that Jacob was done with the slides!  We walked around and ate some snacks, watched a squirrel run across the park and underneath the car.  Then we loaded up the car, had our milk and fell asleep on the way home.

Chili

We have started eating with forks!!  Mommy likes it because then she doesn't have to feed us while she tries to eat her dinner.  She doesn't like this because it's messy.  Here's some pictures from when we had chili.

Then there's Alex.

He bent over and tried to suck up the bean using just his mouth!  Oh well, nothing a baby wipe can't clean up.

Brooms

We went to Mommy's work and one of her friends showed Alex how to use the broom.  Well one day Alex was by the dryer at home and he found the broom.  So now we try to help with the cleaning!

I had the broom, so Alex got the hand broom and dustpan.

You've really got to make sure you get all the spots, even all the way in the corner!

Oreos!!

Daddy was having Oreos and milk the other night, and we finally got to try it!!  Ususally we just find the empty glass on the coffee table in the morning.  Alex got to try first!  And if you click on the picture, you'll be able to see the Oreo crumbs on his face!

Since Mommy was taking pictures of this event, I had to go in Alex's seat to get my cookie.

We've decided that we like Oreos!!
