Mischief and More Climbing

There's a lot of pictures coming up, just wanted to warn you! Alex and I have been busy, Mommy would probably say "Up to no good!". Oh well, enjoy!

We've figured that we can climb the coffee table if there's a pillow or toy that we can use. I even used the piano once. And just this morning, we both got on it at the same time. Mommy made us get down, she said something about unsafe and she couldn't see the television anymore.

Alex has also figured out to move things that we stand on next to other things, like the kitchen table, that way he can get to the stuff we're not supposed to.

That's a peeler in his hand, and Mommy and Daddy heard the peeler hitting the white bowl in the sink and when they went into the kitchen, this is what they found.

Nanay always tells Daddy how he would tear paper into little pieces. And he would be content just to sit and tear paper. Guess what?! We found Mommy recycling bin in our room and brought it into the kitchen. And tore up the papers into little bits. I'm not in these pictures but I did help!

And this is from a different night. Mommy still can't decide if it was a paper towel or toilet paper. But it did keep us quiet for a half hour.
Just this past Monday I decided to move the table chair into the kitchen. Alex came to help me move it too.
Then Alex decided to get into the drawer and sit there. And this is how he takes pictures now. If he sees the camera, he opens his mouth wide and laughs.
He wouldn't let me in, and when we both got mad at each other, Daddy made Alex get out and shut the drawer.
Here's the step stool again. Only this time Mommy, Daddy and I were in the living room and the step stool was folded up and behind the garbage. When Mommy went to get plates for dinner, this is what she found.
This is me. I was sitting in the box filled with toys. Then I got mad when I couldn't get out because the toys were in my way. But after Mommy helped me out, I went and got back in the box.

Alex likes to find other ways to use toys. At one point he was standing in the middle of this. And somehow one of the legs came out too, even though there's something you have to press and lift the leg at the same time!

Pappa's Surprise Party!!

This past Saturday was Pappa's birthday!! It's one of the big ones with a zero at the end, but we won't tell which one! There was a surprise party for him at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Lots of people that we didn't know came, and Pappa seemed surprised. It was a lot of fun.

Pappa's brothers are twins, just like us!! we were still being shy, so Mommy and Daddy sat with us that way we could get a picture of the two sets of twins! Mommy held me next to Uncle David, since he 's the older one and Daddy held Jacob next to uncle Donald, since he's the younger one!

Jacob hung out with Uncle Sean once people started coming. Sean's doing his dumb look and I think Jacob was eating.

Here's GG and Pappa next to all the food!

Then Mommy, Uncle Sean and Cousin Suzanne took a picture with GG and Pappa.

Then we got to get a picture taken! Jacob had to bring Rocky the Raccoon with him though.

After lunch, I got to play with the balloon.

Then after most of the people left, we got to play in the water. Jacob wasn't too into it this time but I was!

Uncle Sean went and filled a balloon with water. This one popped, but since we were upset, he filled up two more for us. He's such a great uncle!

I was just wondering what this would taste like!

Here's the 2nd balloon. This one wouldn't pop! Jacob would drop it and it would just roll and stop.

Mommy Found

We don't know if Daddy will like us posting this picture of us, but oh well. This is what Mommy found last weekend after she went shopping (without us!) and came home with 6 bags in her hands. We think she must have thought Daddy would be able to help her, but he was asleep! We must make him tired!

We had a busy weekend, so we'll be back soon.

Pool

We got to go to the pool this weekend! It was our first time there. We didn't get any pictures of us in the pool, since it was just Mommy and Daddy, it was harder for them to take pictures. They're going to try to have another person or two the next time they go. And take our floatie things. This time was just to see how we like the big pool.

Here I am, ready to go. As soon as we get our shoes on these days, we got to the front door since we know we're going somewhere!!

Here's Jacob, after swimming, relaxing in the lounge chair. He liked the pool, but he liked it better when he was standing on the steps and splashing the water.

Here I am with Mommy. I LOVED the water. I laughed the entire time, even when Daddy dunked me! They'd take me out where it was deeper and throw me in the air, and I'd make a big splash. Even when I was by the steps, I'd point to the deep end, and they'd take me out there.

Jacob wasn't happy when I was put on his chair! Oh well!

That's all that we got from pictures from the pool. Hopefully we can go again and get some of us actually in the pool.

And here's a picture of Jacob's 1st Boo Boo. He fell off of the curb on the way to the car. But he just go back up and kept walking to the car.

Alex's 1st Haircut

I had to get a haircut. Well, it was more of a trim. Mommy's been saying for while now that it needed to get done and she finally did. It was past my neck and covered up my ears. Mommy went to one kids place, but they wanted $16 for haircut, so I ended up at Great Clips with a $7 neck trim. Here's a couple of pictures!

Before

I started to cry as soon as they had me sit on Mommy and put that thing around me. They tried to get me to hold a lollipop, but that didn't work either. Mommy just told the lady to do what she could. Mommy thought she did pretty good for having to deal with me moving my head around! It took about 5 minutes and I got a sticker that said I was a Star at Great Clips. They tried to give one to Jacob to be fair, but I think he saw what they did to me, and he gave the sticker back! Smart boy!

Here's the after picture!

Experimenting

Mommy and Daddy have been experimenting with new foods and drinks to try and figure out what they can get us to eat. They have found out though, that sometimes we may eat one thing, then next day we may not want any of it. Except rice, we love rice. Daddy's really happy about that!!
Here's Alex diving into a burrito! He had issues with the baby food, but he's much easier to feed now.
Then this week, we got to try Chinese Food! We had Chow Mien, Fried Rice, and Beef and Broccoli. Yummy!
Here I am with a piece of egg hanging out of my mouth! Sometimes Mommy has bad timing with her camera!
Like this! I was trying to get the noodles into my mouth. Oh well.

We drink out of straws now, so they tried Capri-Sun. Mommy was saying something about how it has less carbs than the apple juice. For now, they hold the drink for us, since I like to squeeze it and make the juice come out!

Then we got our first taste of doughnuts!! Mommy had to stick it in my mouth for me but it was good. We ate it after our healthier breakfast of Oatmeal and Bananas and we only got a little bite.

This picture is a bit deceiving of Alex. He played with it, and maybe only had one bite. But at least he had fun!

We're Climbing!!! Watch Out!

We're climbing everything, or at least, trying to. These pictures are just from the last couple of weeks. Poor Mommy and Daddy, every time they turn around we're up to no good. Whether it's climbing or just getting into things. We found the recycle bin in our room, and now we like to take everything out and move it around the house. We hear them after they put us to bed, saying to each other "How did this get out here?" We found where the diapers are and those are all over the house too. We know how to open the wipe container and take out the wipes.

Here I am. Mommy was on the phone with Daddy in the living room when I remembered that she had been doing the dishes and left the dishwasher open. Then she walked into the kitchen and saw me! Then before she got me off, she took this picture. I saw here with the camera so I decided to smile.

Alex climbed onto the toilet the other morning. He's in the red, I'm in the mismatched pajamas because Mommy hadn't done wash and couldn't find two pieces that went together!

I bet that they won't be leaving the step stool like that anymore. I was there too, trying to climb it, but they made me move.

Yep, I figured out how to climb this too. Alex likes to get in the cubby below me. Mommy wasn't watching when I did it the first time, so she took me down, and I did it again. Then she took me down, just so she could get it on video.

This is the first time we made Mommy nervous! We climbed all the way to the top of the stairs. Don't worry, Mommy and Daddy were behind us the whole time.

This is after I climbed on the bench, stood up, then climbed onto the table and crawled across. I got to this point and couldn't figure how to get down.

Another use for toilet paper? To climb on of course! Alex would do this too. We'd bring toys and just play while sitting (or standing) on the toilet paper.
