Weekend Update

Mommy and Daddy have been busy taking care of us since we've both been sick. They've had a few late nights the last 3 days. Maybe we'll give them a break soon.

Some very good news though! Alex finally got some teeth! He got his 2 bottom ones on Wednesday. Mommy was quite excited on Sunday when she finally spotted one! She ran down the hall to wake up Daddy to show him. But Alex doesn't quite open his mouth as wide as I do, so she had to get the flashlight.

That same morning, Alex decided to play with the cat. She doesn't hang around me much, I think she figured out that I don't sit still long enough to give her any attention. She must like Alex since she didn't care that he grabbed her tail.

See how happy Alex looks, even though he's sick and coughs all night? Daddy gave us an old Playstation control that doesn't work anymore, just for us to play with.

We hope this counts as playing together! See, we're both playing the the controller and we're both happy.

This is how the toys look when we get up each morning. but we know how to get into everything!

This is how it usually looks by bath time! While we're in the bath, Daddy will stay with us while Mommy goes to pick up the toys. She tells us that she can't wait until she can tell us to pick them up!

Santa brought us this basketball sports thing that usually sits on the table but I figured out how to get it down on my own a couple of times, so now Mommy and Daddy just put it on the floor for me now.

We played together with it, but I think Alex had a better grip on it, since when I let go, he went over backwards! He was fine though, and so was Missy, who you can kind of see in the picture.

Mommy got us these bibs for Valentine's Day and wanted to make sure she got pictures of us in them.

And this is me with my bib. When Mommy sits on the couch, I always crawl over to her and pull up on the couch so she can see me. I do this daily! Besides, I think she likes it!

Then it was our bath time. Daddy has started to just stand nearby since it gets really wet in there now! Mommy was trying to play with Alex's hair and kind of gave him a Mohawk.

Here's an picture of why it gets so wet these days! Mommy and Daddy don't really mind, since they hope it just tires us out before bed. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Airport Trip

This past Saturday we got to go to the Sonoma Valley Airport to watch Uncle Anthony go up in a Biplane for his birthday present. We went with Mommy, Daddy, Nanay, Grandpa, Uncle Anthony, Gene, Matthew and Shelby. There were a couple of Grandpa's friends too.

This is us getting to the office of the airport. Mommy and Daddy have started letting us sit in the stroller without having to be in our car seats. Alex likes to put his feet up on the bar in front of him.

Daddy and Alex took a picture. Alex is hanging onto his Raiders rattle. I think Daddy has helmet hair since he rode his motorcycle out there!

This is me and Mommy by the airplane that's by the road.

Then they switched and this is me with Daddy!

While Anthony was on his flight, we just hung out and played.

Nanay and Alex played near the plane, she was swinging him around and he would laugh! Eventually he did manage to grab that ribbon hanging off of the plane and pulled it off!

Mommy would toss me up in the air. This is fun and I wanted her to do it again, but it was time to settle down before lunch.

Daddy and Nanay walked across the street to the fruit stand and brought back a couple of apples. One rolled across the table and Alex picked it up and tried to eat it.

After lunch we left. We liked looking at the planes and watched them take off! Then we went to our other Grandma and Grandpa's house to help celebrate Grandpa's birthday!

Uncle Sean was supposed to just hand Alex to Grandpa but sat on his lap instead!

Then Mommy decided to get in the picture!

Then Uncle Sean left and we got a picture with Grandpa since we're his buddies!
Uncle Sean took one of the birthday horns off of the cake and let Alex have the frosting! which he got all over his face, I think he likes it. Grandpa tried to give me a taste, but I didn't want to try it. Maybe next time.
Mommy and Daddy said it was a long day but Alex and I like going to new places and had fun!

Grandpa's Birthday!

Today is our Grandpa's birthday!! Yay, happy birthday Grandpa! However last night Mommy and Daddy decided to try and get our picture with a sign to email to him.
Here's those pictures.

Those were the good ones, here's an example of what we kept doing instead:
The fun didn't stop there! Mommy had to cut a piece of cardboard out of a box lid, so they decided to put the lid with the hole in it in front of me to see what I would do.

Then they thought it would be cool to see what Jacob would do.

Then he was trying to crawl out of it! These days Jacob is trying to crawl over anything!

After all the fun the lid went in to recycling and we got ready for bed. We're looking forward to Saturday for the birthday dinner.

Another Day with Daddy

We got to hang out with Daddy recently, so we took a few pictures. Daddy says that Mommy likes to get them at work.

Alex was hanging out playing with the piano, which he also likes to turn upside down, when Missy decided she wanted some attention. She hung out with Alex for a while.

I must have been to busy on the move since there's no pictures of me in the morning. Whatever I did though must have wore me out since after Daddy fed me, I fell asleep in my seat!

Of course Daddy had to take a couple of pictures!

Then later we each had a nap and this is what Alex looked like when he woke up!

After dinner I decided to explore and I was trying to get to all the Gerber lids that Alex and I like to throw on the floor, but I got stuck trying to get back out.

Meanwhile Alex was over by the coffee table trying to figure out the whole crawling thing. Once he's got that figured out we can really get into trouble! Poor Mommy and Daddy!

Our First Super Bowl!!

This was our first Super Bowl!! Mommy and Daddy's teams aren't that great this year, so we didn't care who won. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's to watch the game.

Mommy put me here, then decided that since I was looking cute, to take a picure.

Grandpa was doing the dishes and gave Jacob a pot and spoon to play with.

Then he decided to take a break and crawl to the window to look outside. He's always going somewhere and pulling up. I like to just sit and watch.

We just played with our toys while the game was on.

We stayed for dinner, and at some point I guess we came home because we woke up in our cribs back at home!
